Q1. How covid has affected you as an individual, as a student of teachers education, and as a teacher?

COVID-19 AFFECTED AS A STUDENT

The COVID-19 pandemic has introduced uncertainty into major aspects of national and global society, including for schools. According to my point of view, COVID-19 affected my study learning process. I belong to a ruler area where there was no proper internet. Every day I walked 5m to reach that area where the internet is access but it was too slow. Due to poor internet, I missed my classes and courses, as a result, I fail in my annual exam. Sometimes I was frustrated that how I compete with my other classmates because they all belong to an urban area with proper internet. This was a challenging and critical situation for me. In some cases, our results tell a more optimistic story than we feared. In others, the results are as deeply concerning as we expected based on our projectionsTechnology has played a greater role in today’s world when it comes to the Education system, the process of learning or acquisition of knowledge, skills, values, beliefs and habits; with the advancement in the new age, technology has been involved in the core of the education system but since the Covid-19 pandemic things have changed in the way they used to be when it comes to the educational system of the country. Earlier we were in the face to face system of education but now when educational institutions are inaccessible. Problems faced during online classes. The interaction between school and colleges students became tough and an endeavour to come up with ways to find the solution to basic problems that were faced during the online education

covid-19 affected as a teacher

According to the findings, the most common problems faced by the teachers during COVID-19 pandemic is students’ technical and hardware problems related to the internet connection, the inability of students to maintain their motivation to learn, the inability of parents to create a learning environment, and the lack of their support at home for their children. The majority of teachers have the opinion that the psychology of the students has been negatively affected during the COVID-19 pandemic process, but there are also the students who could adapt to this process. An important finding in this study is that teachers think that their colleagues do not have the necessary skills to use technology and they are low in motivation to use distance education technologies. Teachers think that after the COVID-19 pandemic, things shall not be the same as before; the importance of school, teachers and face-to-face education shall be recognized again, and blended learning methods shall come to the fore. Teachers are inexperienced about which online tools and resources they can use, and what methods they can apply; they need constant support. Qualified process management shall not be possible without this support. For students, not only academic support for continuing learning but also psycho-social support during the epidemic should be provided. Interrupting education at schools has created anxiety especially for students who have been preparing for exams. After COVID-19 pandemic, it can be stated that the importance of the use of the internet and synchronous education for education purposes has gradually increased and that a new normal order has been started in which teachers work from home environment

Q2: What challenges will you face if you become an online instructor somedays?

The world of education and learning is moving towards online training. The benefits are undeniable: reduced costs, great flexibility for the student and the ability to train thousands of people all over the globe at the same time. In addition, you can monitor what students are doing at any given moment, and it breaks with the inertia and passivity of classroom courses. My biggest challenge in online teaching will be that I have no shortage of interesting ideas, but I am not sure how to translate them into the online course. In a face to face class, it's easy to be flexible and to show up in class one morning and try something a little different. I think it's really valuable to listen to and watch students in a classroom/lab setting and it's harder to observe them informally. There may be technical difficulties with online teaching tools.

Q3: What is motivation? What is intrinsic motivation? what is extrinsic motivation?

Motivation:

Motivation is the process that initiates, guides, and maintains goal-oriented behaviours. It is what causes you to act, whether it is getting a glass of water to reduce thirst or reading a book to gain knowledge.

Motivation involves the biological, emotional, social, and cognitive forces that activate behaviour. In everyday usage, the term "motivation" is frequently used to describe why a person does something. It is the driving force behind human actions.

Motivation doesn't just refer to the factors that activate behaviours; it also involves the factors that direct and maintain these goal-directed actions (though such motives are rarely directly observable). As a result, we often have to infer the reasons why people do the things that they do base on observable behaviours.

Intrinsic motivation:

Intrinsic motivation is the act of doing something without any obvious external rewards. You do it because it's enjoyable and interesting, rather than because of an outside incentive or pressure to do it, such as a reward or deadline. Intrinsic motivation is clearly visible in young infants, that consistently try to grasp, throw, bite, squash or shout at new objects they encounter. Even if less important as they grow, human adults are still often intrinsically motivated while they play crosswords, make paintings, do gardening or just read novels or watch movies.

Extrinsic motivation:

Extrinsic motivation refers to behaviour that is driven by external rewards. These rewards can be tangible, such as money or grades, or intangible, such as praise or fame. Unlike intrinsic motivation, which arises from within the individual, extrinsic motivation is focused purely on outside rewards.

People who are extrinsically motivated will continue to perform an action, even though the task might not be in and of itself rewarding—for example, doing something at your job that you might not normally find enjoyable or rewarding to earn a wage.

Extrinsic motivation is involved in operant conditioning, which is when someone or something is conditioned to behave a certain way due to a reward or consequence.
